    Hello and I am thrilled you are here! My name is Zlata (yes, this is my real name) and I am a photographer. I was born and raised in a beautiful mountainous country of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia and my native language is Russian. I am a wife and a mother.I am a perfectionist. I am a minimalist. I am drawn to things and designs that are fresh, clean and simple, because simple is classic and classic is beautiful.

Duluth, MN Engagement Photography | {Susan & Derek}

I can’t say enough about this couple: from the first time I met Susan and Derek I thought to myself: these two are meant to be together. We laughed all the way through the chilly late fall session and just had the best time capturing these two beautiful people .  Susan has a passion for refinishing old furniture and they both love a glass of good wine – so we incorporated both of those things into their session. Susan and Derek, I think you two are incredible together and I can’t wait to see you in wedding attire this coming fall!:)

Duluth, MN Maternity and Newborn Photography | Part I

“Motherhood is near to divinity.  It is the highest, holiest service to be assumed by mankind.”

-Howard W. Hunter

Precious little Hattie Ruth was born few months after we shot this session – sweet surprise for mom and dad that had no idea what they were having.  Samantha was one gorgeous mama carrying her baby girl but what is even more admirable is the legacy of a great woman she will pass down onto her kids.  Samantha, it was my great pleasure to meet you and Al. Thank you for being an inspiration for these beautiful images♥

Part II of Hattie’s newborn session is coming tomorrow
